S.Korea fears beef protests driving away investors

SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea’s prime minister said on Tuesday violent street rallies against a U.S. beef import deal are harming the country’s international credibility and driving investors away.

“The daily protests are making foreign investors avoid direct investment in Korea and also discouraging investment by domestic businesses,” Han said. “The credibility of South Korea’s economy is worsening rapidly.” more here

I read yesterday the won has dropped 72 won against the dollar since this bullshit started, I am sure there are other issues involved as well, but it does not help either

“Anyone can feel that an economic crisis is slowly approaching,” Han said.

The only people being hurt by this smear campaign are Koreans themselves…and yes you can protest your self out of a job…
