I was coming home from work when I saw this on the street to my house. This car has the sidewalk completely blocked and made the right turn very dangerous because you could not see into the road (coming from the direction that the taxi is taking).

There rules in Korea that are to protect the privacy of wrongdoers (remember dogshit girl ) so in the interest of compliance the plates are blocked.

What gets me is how someone can think that parking thier car is more important than to allow people to pass freely on the sidewalk, or for other drivers to operate thier vehicles safely. But what really got me the most was seeing a "16" on the plates.

S.Korea fears beef protests driving away investors

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea’s prime minister said on Tuesday violent street rallies against a U.S. beef import deal are harming the country’s international credibility and driving investors away.

“The daily protests are making foreign investors avoid direct investment in Korea and also discouraging investment by domestic businesses,” Han said. “The credibility of South Korea’s economy is worsening rapidly.” more here

I read yesterday the won has dropped 72 won against the dollar since this bullshit started, I am sure there are other issues involved as well, but it does not help either

New protests erupted out front of a world famous Pub in Itaewon, after is was learned that the owners were considering opening a branch in North Korea when trade sanctions are lifted. Local patrons were upset that they were planning to lower beer prices as well. All of this based on internet rumors and cell phone text messages. The main concern was low beer prices would lead to increased drunkeness and domestic problems.  A young girl at the protest was quoted ” I can go to school and get a good job and marry a good man that becomes a drunk at the 3 Alley Pub becuase of cheap beer.”

Calls to the Pub were not answered, except one where the owner kept asking if I spoke english?
